11399 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister for State Owned Enterprises: Further to Reply 8864 (2026), does the Minister accept that the total quantum of compensation paid to retail partners whose service counters are being closed is information of genuine public interest given that those partners are small businesses who relied on a government-owned enterprise; and if so, will the Minister direct NZ Post to disclose that figure?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that the member is asking for information relating to contractual matters between NZ Post and retail partners. This information is commercially sensitive and therefore would not be appropriate to share.
