11398 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister for State Owned Enterprises: Further to Reply 8864 (2026), is the Minister satisfied that the methodology NZ Post has used to determine individual compensation payments to retail partners whose service counters are being closed is fair and consistent; and has the Minister sought any independent assurance that the process for calculating those payments is reasonable?

Hon Simeon Brown: This is an operational matter for NZ Post. As a shareholding Minister it would not be appropriate for me to comment.
