Tangi Utikere to the Minister for State Owned Enterprises: Further to Reply 8864 (2026), on what basis has NZ Post determined that the total aggregate quantum of compensation payments made or committed to retail partners whose service counters are being closed is commercially sensitive, given that this is a single aggregate figure rather than the details of any individual commercial arrangement?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that NZ Post are offering support to retail partners, including financial support in most cases, to ensure a smooth transition. Providing any figures relating to the amount of financial support is commercially sensitive.
