Lan Pham to the Minister responsible for RMA Reform: Is the Minister aware of whether resource consents held by Suze Redmayne or the trusts of which she is a beneficiary (the RW & SED Redmayne Family Trust and the Richard Redmayne Family Trust), if there are any, being extended under the Resource Management (Duration of Consents) Amendment Act?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am not aware of resource consents held by Suze Redmayne or trusts of which she is a beneficiary being extended specifically. The Resource Management (Duration of Consents) Amendment Act 2025 automatically extends existing or expired consents to 31 December 2027, allowing operations to continue lawfully while the new system beds in.
