11353 (2025). Dr Tracey McLellan to the Minister of Corrections: How much of Corrections own capital funding from existing baselines will be contributed towards the Christchurch Men’s Prison Redevelopment Programme?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that Corrections is preparing to publicly release the cabinet paper on the Christchurch Men’s Prison Redevelopment Programme and Detailed Business Case which will be available on their website in due course here: https://www.corrections.govt.nz/resources/policy_and_legislation/cabinet_papers. As this is currently being prepared for proactive release and will answer this question, I refer the member to this paper which will soon be publicly available. This is also my response to WPQ 11351 (2025), WPQ 11355 (2025), WPQ 11354 (2025), WPQ 11357 (2025) and WPQ 11356 (2025).
