Hon Nicola Willis: The Ministry produces the National School Roll Projection (NSRP) annually which is used to form the underlying assumptions for population growth for the expenditure forecasts. More information on the NSRP can be found on Education Counts: https://www.educationcounts.govt.nz/statistics/national-school-roll-projection This year, in addition to the annual production of NSRP, there was a migration-related adjustment made ahead of the March Baseline Update due to high levels of migration. These adjusted figures were published by the Treasury as a part of the Half Yearly Fiscal Update in Table 5.5. at: hyefu23-data-expense-tables.xlsx (live.com).
