11313 (2026). Debbie Ngarewa-Packer to the Minister for Resources: Further to WPQ 6184 were any iwi, hapū, or Māori environmental organisations provided the same access to draft policy documents, if not, why not?

Hon Shane Jones: Neither Trans-Tasman Resources Ltd (TTR Ltd) nor iwi, hapū, or Māori environmental organisations were provided with draft policy documents. Separate online hui were held with TTR Ltd, offshore wind developers, and representatives of several Taranaki-based iwi and hapū. Participants at all hui were provided the same description of the proposed amendments to the Bill (see reply 11312 (2026)).
