11312 (2026). Debbie Ngarewa-Packer to the Minister for Resources: Further to WPQ 6184 what feedback did Trans-Tasman Resources Ltd provide and how was it incorporated in the Offshore Renewable Energy Bill, if at all?

Hon Shane Jones: Trans-Tasman Resources Ltd (TTR Ltd) did not submit on the Offshore Renewable Energy Bill through the Select Committee process. MBIE sought and received feedback from TTR Ltd on proposed amendments to the Offshore Renewable Energy Bill. This feedback was provided in meetings and via email and informed Ministers’ decision to introduce the secondary legislation power announced by Hon Simon Watts on 16 September 2025.
