11308 (2026). Debbie Ngarewa-Packer to the Minister for Resources: Further to WPQ 6186 did Trans-Tasman Resources Ltd advocate for seabed minerals or vanadium titanomagnetite to be included in the Critical Minerals List, if at all?

Hon Shane Jones: In response to Wood Mackenzie's survey to inform the mineral longlisting phase of the New Zealand Draft Critical Minerals List development, Trans-Tasman Resources Ltd (TTR Ltd) identified a variety of minerals including iron, titanium and vanadium as essential to New Zealand, having potential for production increases, and as having existing production. TTR Ltd did not make a submission on the Draft Critical Minerals List during public consultation.
