11236 (2024). Teanau Tuiono to the Minister of Education: Further to WPQ 1260 (2024) When will the value-for-money review of Ministry-led property projects, including the rebuild of Te Kura o Te Pāroa, expected to be completed, and what factors will be considered in determining whether these projects will continue as planned?"

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised by the Ministry of Education that the Value for Money reviews will be completed by the end of May 2024. Once the outcomes are known, delivery will be prioritised based on most urgent need. Most projects are expected to proceed, but some may be staged, scaled and/or planned to be delivered at a later date. More information about Value for Money reviews can be found on the Education website at https://www.education.govt.nz/our-work/changes-in-education/value-for-money-reviews/. The rebuild of Te Kura o Te Pāroa will be delivered as planned. The forecasted 18 month build programme is expected to begin within the next six months.
