11199 (2026). Reuben Davidson to the Minister for Media and Communications: Further to his answer to written question 7461 (2026): what was his response or responses, if any?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: The Prime Minister called me following 1 News airing a law and order story on 26 February 2026. As I recall, he observed that the story was badly unbalanced and that I should watch it. After I watched the story in question, I texted him to agree that it was not balanced and to let him know that I had reached out to Maike Sherman and Benedict Collins to give them the benefit of my views. He was supportive of this course of action.
