11081 (2024). Hon Dr Duncan Webb to the Associate Minister of Justice: Has the Minister received advice on possible effects of removing the firearms register; if so, what is the nature of the advice, listed by date?

Hon Nicole McKee: The Government has committed to a review of the Firearms Registry commencing by June 2024. I am currently considering advice on the approach to this review, including terms of reference. Following the completion of the review, I will consider the findings and any recommendations from that.
