11008 (2024). Hon Dr Megan Woods to the Minister for Energy: Has he sought assurances from the Electricity Authority that all that needs to be in place to ensure security of electricity supply over winter 2024 are in place?

Hon Simeon Brown: Ensuring the lights stay on over winter 2024 is a priority. I meet regularly with the Electricity Authority to ensure there is coordination between government agencies so that the system can meet demand when required. Officials also provide updates on the security of supply each week.
