Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Children: Has the Minister been advised that only roles that work in, or provide, a regulated service, and the role's work may or does involve regular or overnight contact with a child or children and takes place without a parent or guardian of the child or children being present, are considered frontline workers?

Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised that Oranga Tamariki uses the definition of Children’s Worker, as per section 23(1) of the Children’s Act 2014, for reporting on frontline roles.
