Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister of Finance: What data set, if any, did she receive to inform her statement, “when you tally up the new jobs we will create through our investments and frontline services and the police and corrections officers and health workers and the like, that new job creation will be greater than the back-office roles that we are disestablishing”?

Hon Nicola Willis: I have received a range of advice from the Treasury and Public Service Commission throughout the Budget process regarding the workforce implications of Budget initiatives. Consistent with past years, key advice will be proactively released after Budget day.
