10923 (2024). Teanau Tuiono to the Minister of Education: What impact, if any, will the dis-establishment of jobs in the NZQA Nga Poutoko Aromatawai Māori team have on student assessment?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised that a proposal to disestablish positions in NZQA’s Nga Poutoko Aromatawai Māori team, as part of pausing the development of new NCEA Level 2 and 3 standards, is subject to a change process that is currently under consultation with staff. I note that all staffing decisions are a matter for the Chief Executive.
