How does the Minister plan to address concerns from workers and unions about potential reductions in leave entitlements under the proposed changes to the Holidays Act, and ensure that any adjustments do not disadvantage workers?

Hon Brooke van Velden: Taking decisions to improve the Holidays Act is part of the Government’s action plan for this quarter. We want to make sure that changes to the Act are workable, so that employees do get their entitlements. I am committed to getting feedback from all stakeholders who will be impacted by the changes to the Act. This includes from workers and worker representatives.
