10909 (2024). Teanau Tuiono to the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety: In response to Question 4831 (2024). Are there plans to expand these partnerships to other iwi in the future and if not why not?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised that WorkSafe New Zealand may expand partnership arrangements where workers are at greater risk of serious harm and fatalities at work if Iwi-Māori and WorkSafe both agree that a formal partnership is the best way forward in achieving better Health and Safety outcomes for Māori workers.
