Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during the October – December 2023 quarter, work was underway to standardise waste management practices across Health New Zealand. I am further advised, however, that due to competing priorities a detailed assessment of sustainability considerations in terms of flight-related emissions was not progressed during the quarter, although conversations have commenced with medical associations and unions.
