Hon Mark Mitchell: As the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery, I regularly request and receive advice from officials on matters relating to my Emergency Management and Recovery portfolio. I received the following documents from officials in the Cyclone Recovery Unit between 27 November 2023 and 10 May 2024: • Potential cyclone recovery National Resilience Plan investments – 26 January 2024 • Appropriations drawdown $63.6 million from the NRP to fund silt and sediment removal in Hawke's Bay and Tairāwhiti – 23 February 2024 In addition, staff in my office may informally receive documents, including draft documents, from officials in NEMA and DPMC and from other agencies, and from Ministers’ offices.
