I have received a variety of different types of advice and information from officials including from DPMC and the Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment (MBIE) on a range of issues relating to the US-Israeli strikes on Iran including fuel security since they began. The Minister of Finance Hon Nicola Willis and the Associate Minister for Energy Hon Shane Jones announced the details of the Fuel Response Plan 2026 to respond to fuel supply uncertainty driven by the conflict in the Middle East on 27 March 2026.
