Hon Todd McClay: Neither I, nor any member of my office sent any communication between 27 November 2023 and 9 May 2024, to the Chief Executive of the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) about reducing staff numbers at MPI by nine percent. These decisions are the responsibility of the Chief Executive.
