10790 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Associate Minister of Transport: What consultations did the Minister’s departments, if any, open on the week beginning 10 March 2025 with employees around any changes to employment roles, employment numbers and any other employment conditions, and what date are any such consultations expected to close?

Hon James Meager: I am advised that a consultation document was circulated to Transport Accident Investigation Commission staff on 12 March 2025. The consultation is expected to close on 28 March 2025 at 5pm. This consultation does not propose any reduction in current staff numbers but instead proposes the disestablishment of two management roles and the creation of two reshaped management roles. There are no proposed changes to any other employment conditions.
