10784 (2024). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Associate Minister of Police: How is he working “as hard as we can, ” to deliver up to 500 new frontline officers over two years?

Hon Casey Costello: This Government’s commitment to training 500 frontline officers is a priority. I have requested regular briefings from Police on their plans for delivery with clear timeframes and milestones, alongside updates on progress towards meeting the milestones set. Recruitment is an operational matter but I will maintain oversight of the delivery of this initiative.
