Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Foreign Affairs: What specific actions, if any, broken down by action taken and date, has the Minister done to prepare the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities or any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, to implement the National Fuel Plan since 28 February 2026?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: I have not undertaken specific actions with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade to prepare for implementation of the National Fuel Plan since 28 February 2026. My expectation is that the Ministry will contribute to and participate in any request directed by the responsible agency to implement the National Fuel plan. The Ministry does not require my express direction to undertake its responsibilities as a government department.
