10623 (2024). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister of Finance: What is the total headcount as at 8 May 2024, for each of the Minister’s Departments, Ministries, and Agencies?

Hon Nicola Willis: The Treasury had a Headcount of 649 (for 631.6 FTE) as at 8 May 2024. This number includes active permanent and fixed term employees, including employees seconded out of the Treasury. The number excludes people on long term leave and people seconded into the Treasury. RBNZ had a headcount of 613 as at 8 May 2024. This number includes all personnel, including active employees (permanent and fixed term) and non-active employees (those on leave of absence).
