10555 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter October – December 2023 to ‘Implement accessible and nationally-consistent clinical pathways for diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, respiratory conditions, stroke and gout, supporting specialist teams to integrate with primary and community care providers to create seamless pathways for whānau.’ under section 2.4 ‘Māuiuitanga taumaha | People living with chronic health conditions within Te Whatu Ora’s Te Pae Tata: Interim New Zealand Health Plan 2022?
Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during the October - December 2023 quarter, planning and allocation phases were completed for the development of Chest Pain and Gout Pathways. The Cognitive Impairment Pathway also entered its final development phase, including the new mana tool, in the quarter, ahead of implementation in March. I am further advised that in the quarter, development of the Asthma in Children Community Health Pathways continued.
