10535 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter October – December 2023 to ‘Partner with HQSC and clinical leaders across the system to ensure that quality and safety is reflected in performance monitoring, in the delivery of Te Pae Tata and in the delivery of all services’ under section 3.1 ‘Transition to transformation’ within Te Whatu Ora’s Te Pae Tata: Interim New Zealand Health Plan 2022?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during the October - December 2023 quarter, Health New Zealand partnered with HQSC and Te Aka Whai Ora to form a Quality and Safety Measures Programme. I am further advised that the programme developed a Clinical Quality and Safety Measures framework with a suite of measures, with the first version going live in February.
