10527 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: Further to his response to WPQ 5607 (2025), what additional costs, if any, were incurred by any government agency as a result of Dr Diana Sarfati’s resignation, Margie Apa’s resignation, Nicolas Jones’ resignation, and/or Rosalie Hughes’s resignation, including payouts, broken down by component?
Hon Simeon Brown: These are operational matters for the Chief Executive of Health New Zealand. However, I am advised that due process was followed, consistent with relevant employment agreements. As the Member will be aware following my replies to Written Parliamentary Questions 5609 (2025), 5616 (2025), and 5613 (2025), Dr Jones' secondment to the Ministry ended as planned, following an extension. As the Member will also be aware following my reply to Written Parliamentary Question 5614 (2025), matters related to Dr Sarfati's employment are matters for the Public Service Commission.
