10526 (2026). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Internal Affairs: What board fee increases, if any, did the Minister approve between 1 October and 31 December 2025, by organisation?

Hon Brooke van Velden: The fees for the Fire and Emergency New Zealand Board were reviewed in December 2025. As a result of this review, the fees will increase effective 1 April 2026, as follows: • Chair: from $64,150 per annum to $91,560 per annum; • Deputy Chair: from $31,762 per annum to $57,000 per annum; and • Members: from $25,410 per annum to $45,600 per annum.
