10492 (2025). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister of Education: How many times, if any, was the Minister informed about issues with school lunch provider Libelle, and by whom?

Hon Erica Stanford: I was advised by Hon David Seymour on two occasions that Libelle, a subcontractor of Compass, was having some supply challenges and then I learned via the media that they had been placed into liquidation on 11 March. My office was CCd on a briefing to Minister Seymour from the Ministry of Educaton about issues with Libelle on 11 March. I received the briefing that evening after it had already been publicly reported they had been placed in liquidation.
