10472 (2025). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Minister of Police: What number of individuals employed in the National Gang Unit are permanent staff, broken down by non-constabulary and constabulary?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that as at 17 March 2025 there were 16 full time equivalent (FTE) roles in the National Gang Unit, with further positions currently in the recruitment process. Of these 16 roles,14 are permanent, with seven of these permanent roles being constabulary employees and seven being general Police employees. The remaining two staff are general Police employees that are on internal Police secondments.
