10450 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Local Government: Is the Minister confident that the re-election for the Papatoetoe subdivision of the Ōtara-Papatoetoe Local Board is adequately protected against the same fraud methods used in the original election?

Hon Simon Watts: Yes. I have confidence in Auckland Council and its electoral officer to run a successful election in accordance with local electoral law.
