10449 (2024). Lan Pham to the Minister for Energy: How many, if any, proposed wind farms have been consented but are yet to start construction; listed by name of project and date of consent granted?

Hon Simeon Brown: As at 8 May 2024, my officials are aware of a number of proposed wind farms that have been announced as being consented but have not had a subsequent announcement that construction has started. These are listed in the attached document. These are a combination of both new projects as well as expansions to existing projects. The existing Te Rere Hau wind farm has also received consent for repowering. Information on the date that consents have been granted is held by consenting authorities
