10431 (2026). Scott Willis to the Minister for Energy: What written advice, if any, has the Minister received regarding Datagrid's proposed data centre in Makarewa by title and date?

Hon Simon Watts: I have received written information in the Energy portfolio Weekly Report for the weeks commencing 16 and 23 March 2026 on Datagrid’s resource consent approval in Makarewa. I have requested further advice, which officials will provide in the week commencing 7 April. This will appear in due course on the proactively released list of briefings I have received from MBIE: https://www.mbie.govt.nz/about/open-government-and-official-information/release-of-information.
