10421 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: Did NZTA seek independent financial advice before receiving Cubic's assurances that its $28.9 million loss and negative equity position would not affect programme delivery, and if so, what did that advice conclude?

Hon Chris Bishop: The NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi has assured me that they have made inquiries into Cubic’s financial position and are confident it is not impacting on programme delivery.
