10377 (2025). Shanan Halbert to the Minister of Police: What, if any, activities of Destiny Church or Brian Tamaki have been recorded or categorised as ‘hate motivated’ against the Rainbow Community?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that Police is unable to comment on details relating to a specific persons without breaching their privacy. Police records offences as being committed by an individual, and only in the case where formal action is taken against an organisation (e.g., a prosecution) would it be recorded as being committed by that organisation. No formal actions have been recorded against Destiny Church or its affiliated programmes.
