10320 (2025). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Associate Minister of Education: How many, if any, school lunches were wasted during the week of March 3rd 2025, expressed as an overall number?

Hon David Seymour: I am advised by the Ministry of Education that based on the data provided by the School Lunch Collective from 3 to 7 March 2025, 7.84% of meals were uneaten and returned to the School Lunch Collective production kitchens across the country. This compares to 9 % of lunches being surplus in Term 4, 2023 under the previous government's school lunch scheme.
