10303 (2025). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Associate Minister of Education: What was the total cost, if any, to the School Lunch Collective to produce all the lunches during the week of March 3rd, 2025?

Hon David Seymour: I am advised by the Ministry of Education that the cost per meal is $3 under the School Lunch Collective, and for the week beginning 3 March 2025, 594,022 meals were delivered to schools across the country from the School Lunch Collective. An additional 84 cents will be paid for the two additional food items provided to the Year 9+ students (43% of the students receiving meals from the School Lunch Collective). The Ministry does not hold any information about the actual cost of meals incurred by the School Lunch Collective.
