10300 (2024). Chlöe Swarbrick to the Minister of Conservation: How much "time has been built into the process to allow for [engagement with tangata whenua]" on the Proposed Hākaimangō-Matiatia (Northwest Waiheke) Marine Reserve?

Hon Tama Potaka: The Department of Conservation advises it is progressing its engagement with tangata whenua on the Proposed Hākaimangō-Matiatia (Northwest Waiheke) Marine Reserve. A time period of two calendar months has been built into the process. The level of engagement uptake may result in an extension or reduction of this planned timeline. The Department advises it expects to provide advice later in 2024.
