Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter October – December 2023 to ‘Establish a national dedicated Tāngata whaikaha | Disabled people strategic leadership team’ under section 1.3 ‘Developing an inclusive leadership and culture’ within Te Whatu Ora’s Te Pae Tata: Interim New Zealand Health Plan 2022?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during the October - December 2023 quarter, a Disability Strategy Team was established within the Office of the Chief Executive of Health New Zealand. The core team is supported by extended team members within various business units.
