10213 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: Does he believe that the behaviour of the turnaround team, as described by former senior leaders of Health NZ, aligns with the Government’s expectations for leadership in the public health sector?

Hon Simeon Brown: Our Government is focused on delivering timely, quality healthcare for all New Zealanders. This is an operational matter for Health New Zealand. However, I am advised that the agency has a Code of Conduct which outlines the standards of behaviour that are expected of its staff, and I expect all those working with the agency to uphold it.
