10198 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What contracts, if any, have been awarded to companies who are current or former employers of members of the turnaround team, and what is the total value of those contracts?

Hon Simeon Brown: Our Government is focused on delivering timely, quality healthcare for all New Zealanders. I am advised that the departments, agencies, and ministries I am responsible for as Minister of Health report annually to the Health Committee on contracts awared to companies. I do not consider it in the public interest to commit officials' time to preparing this information ahead of these publications. I note that the authority to award contracts has always remained with the Chief Executive and management with the relevant financial delegations.
