10191 (2026). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Transport: What staff engagement, morale, or culture surveys, if any, have been conducted by any department or entity for which the Minister is responsible since 27 November 2023, listed by department or entity, date conducted, the organisation that administered the survey if external, and the overall engagement or satisfaction score reported?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised that there was one Ministry of Transport wide engagement survey in November 2025, overall engagement rate was 59.5%. I am further advised that NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi carries out an organisation-wide staff survey every quarter, which has been run internally. The average engagement score since 27 November 2023 to date is 7.6 out of 10.
