10191 (2025). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Health: Is the Wairarapa Hospital at least 34% of the National Building Standard; if so, is that Importance Level 2 or Importance Level 4?

Hon Simeon Brown: Our Government is focused on delivering timely, quality healthcare for all New Zealanders. I am advised that seven of the 12 buildings are at least 34 per cent of New Building Standard or greater, two buildings are less than 34 per cent of New Building Standard, one of which is vacant, and three buildings have no seismic assessment. As I said in Written Parliamentary Question 5559 (2025), I am advised that two buildings are Importance Level 4. I am further advised that 10 buildings are Importance Level 2, including one vacant building.
