10176 (2025). Benjamin Doyle to the Associate Minister of Health: Has the Minister or their Office made any plans to support the funding, resourcing or long term sustainability of Aotearoa New Zealand’s only dedicated rainbow mental health provider, OutLine, who have publicly stated that they risk closure due to a lack of funding support?

Hon Matt Doocey: In order to ensure that government funding is allocated in a transparent and effective manner new funding opportunities are advertised through the Government Electronic Tender Service (GETS). I am advised that OutLine Aotearoa is not currently funded by Health New Zealand. Health New Zealand has encouraged OutLine Aotearoa to register on GETS to be notified of any future opportunities for funding, including funding rounds for the Mental Health and Addiction Community Sector Innovation Fund.
