Hon Chris Bishop: The only survey commissioned since 27 November 2023 by the Ministry of Transport is the Household Travel Survey, which measures the household travel of randomly selected New Zealanders over a two day period. Costs are provided below by financial year. • 2023/24 – $916,000.00 • 2024/25 – $916,000.00 • 2025/26 (full-year cost – one panel survey) – $ 891,895.60 Total cost: $2,723,895.60 Total cost (27 November 2023 – 20 March 2026): $ 2,162,588.00 For a list of surveys or polling undertaken by NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi, I refer the Member to the attached document.
