10162 (2024). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Associate Minister of Police: In reponse to Reply 8244 (2024); By what date does he anticipate reaching 500 new Police officers based on the current recruitment rate?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that Police is developing an ambitious recruitment strategy that will enable the 500 growth in constabulary numbers to be achieved as planned. This makes any use of the current recruitment rate for forecasting unreliable.
