Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised by Stats NZ that the total spend on external communications, public relations, advertising, or media monitoring since 2021/22 is $10,718,142. I refer the Member to the table attached for a breakdown of costs. The majority of this spending related to costs incurred in delivering the 2023 Census.
