Camilla Belich to the Attorney-General: What staff engagement, morale, or culture surveys, if any, have been conducted by any department or entity for which the Minister is responsible since 27 November 2023, listed by department or entity, date conducted, the organisation that administered the survey if external, and the overall engagement or satisfaction score reported?

Hon Judith Collins: Crown Law conducted one survey for engagement, the Te Taunaki Public Service Census run by Te Kawa Mataaho Public Service Commission between 03-21/03/2025. The Employee Engagement Index score was 0.83. The Parliamentary Counsel Office (PCO) has conducted two internal staff engagement and satisfaction surveys: a July 2024 survey in which 93% of respondents agreed or strongly agreed that they are satisfied working at the PCO, and a July 2025 survey in which 97% of respondents agreed or strongly agreed that they are satisfied working at the PCO. Both surveys were administered internally, with no external provider involved.
